Training and Development

The job of Education and Training Assistant Secretary is one of identifying and developing resources that already exist in the Party.

It is helping people to identify their own learning needs, and if the resources are not available within the Party, finding other means of assisting them.

Fundraising

As Assistant Secretary for Fundraising I have the task of co-ordinating all fundraising activities for the State Branch and to devise an overall fundraising strategy.

Finance

As Assistant Secretary for Finance my main responsibility is that of the State Party Treasurer and to furnish the Party's financial records to the Australian Electoral Commission, the Australian Taxation office and Party members

Platform Development

The Assistant Secretary for Platform Development has the role of facilitating the processes within the labour movement for developing Party policy.

An important element is the coordinating of forums that are open to the public and Party members, running workshops and encouraging input and discussion from the community.
